The European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO) works in partnership with several other discipline-based and organ-based organisations towards the development of (multidisciplinary) projects and courses that contribute to the training of young oncology surgeons and to continuing medical education in oncology surgery:

6.	Elective course in oncology for medical students, 4 – 15 August 2008, Poznan, Poland
