In 2007, the Flims Selection Committee selected two young surgeons to participate in the Workshop on Methods in Clinical Cancer Research. These two fellows were supported by a grant from ESSO. Through extensive mentoring from experienced scientists they each developed and completed the writing of a clinical trial protocol that they will hopefully implement during their career.
