I am delighted that you have an interest in ESSO and I hope all the information that you require is present within the website but if not, please email the secretariat. If you are a surgeon with a specialist oncological interest in any subspecialty of surgery, then I would strongly urge you to join ESSO and contribute to our many and varied educational activities.
As President of ESSO, I am anxious to provide an appropriate forum for surgeons to meet and debate educational and political matters of mutual interest which will ultimately be of benefit to our patients.
ESSO celebrated its 25th Anniversary at a highly successful meeting in Venice in 2006, with some 930 delegates. We look forward to welcoming you to the forthcoming ESSO Congress, which will be held in The Hague, Netherlands, between September 10th – 12th 2008.
I urge you to consider joining ESSO and so strengthen the important surgical contribution to the management of malignant disease.
