CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION MAKES A DIFFERENCE !
Every year, the European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO) organises in co-operation with the European Board of Surgery of the UEMS an examination session in surgical oncology.
The examination is conducted under the supervision of the Examination Board chaired by Prof. Schlomo Schneebaum (IS), Head of the Division of Surgical Oncology, Surgical section, UEMS.
The following surgical oncologists passed the 2008 EBSQ examination organised in The Hague (NL) during the 14th Congress of the European Society of Surgical Oncology on 9 - 10 September:

- Dr. Magdalena Baklinska (Poland)
- Dr. Kasim Behranwala (UK)
- Dr. Jose Luis Fougo (Portugal)
- Dr. Robert Rosenberg (Germany)
- Dr. Ivan Penavic (Croatia)
- Dr. Jose Pedro Silva (Portugal)
- Dr. Danko Velemir Vrdoljak (Croatia)
The next EBSQ examination will be organised during the ECCO 15 - 34th ESMO Multidisciplinary Congress in Berlin (20 - 24 September 2009).
