ESSO General Assembly Meeting
11th September 2008, The Hague

All ESSO members are invited to the General Assembly meeting that will take place during the ESSO Congress in The Hague, on Thursday 11th September at 18.30. On this occasion, the Executive Committee will report on ESSO activities over the last year, present its projects for the upcoming year and welcome members’ proposals. The General Assembly will be invited to elect the new Board members and the ESSO President-Elect.

Please note that participation in the ESSO General Assembly is restricted to ESSO members.
The agenda for the meeting will be sent to ESSO members in the coming week.

ESSO training fellowships

Through its training fellowships, ESSO offers young surgeons under 40 a unique opportunity to expand clinical and research experience and learn new techniques. 10 fellowships are awarded every year to visit a European institution or cancer center for a duration of 1 to 3 months (standard fellowships) or 3 to 12 months (major fellowship).

Fellowships are competitive and applications must be submitted before 31st August.
