The European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO), the European Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ESTRO) and the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) have joined forces to propose two true multidisciplinary and interactive courses aiming at promoting an integrated approach between specialists of the concerned tumour.

Elective course in oncology for medical students

4 – 15 August 2008, Poznan, Poland

Initiated 4 years ago with the aim to stimulate medical students to specialize in one of the oncology disciplines this intensive course supported and organised by ECCO – the European CanCer Organisation has revealed to be a great success. The course gives an insight in all aspects of oncology from both theoretical and practical perspectives. Surgical oncology will be introduced by members of the ESSO Education and Training Committee.

Selected applicants are offered free registration, free accommodation in a students’ home and a travel grant.

European Board of Surgery Qualification
