The European Association for Cancer Research
Advancing cancer research - from basic research to prevention, treatment and care
About EACR
The European Association for Cancer Research (EACR) was established in 1968 with the aim of advancing cancer research; from basic research to prevention, treatment and care. The Association is growing rapidly with a membership of over 7,500 laboratory, translational and clinical cancer researchers.
Meetings
Following the outstanding success of EACR-20 in Lyon, we are pleased to announce that EACR- 21 will be held in Oslo 26 – 30 June, 2010
Fellowships and Bursaries
EACR fellowships give opportunities for researchers to work in exciting new contexts across Europe. They support research on the basis of technical exchange including participation in workshops and courses. Meeting bursaries are also awarded to support young researchers’ attendance at EACR’s main scientific meeting.
Newsletter and e-news bulletins
Our Annual Newsletter is published in the spring and has reports on meetings, awards and fellowships, news from national society members, and other informative features. EACR members also receive weekly e-news bulletins containing valuable information about meetings and activities.
